L Community is not a content platform. It is infrastructure. Built, maintained, moderated, and run for lesbian and bisexual women. It costs over £2,500 a month to keep running. Membership fees cover the difference.

Simple and optional
Membership is set at £13 per month. It covers the platform, events, moderation, safeguarding, and ongoing operations. You can change or cancel at any time.
One-off payments are also available if you would rather contribute without a monthly commitment.
Membership is separate from event sign-up. You do not need to be a member to attend events, and attending events does not make you a member.
Support L Community
L Community runs on member support. It pays for the app, hosting, moderation, safeguarding and the events programme, and it keeps the network independent and free to join.
What it takes to keep this running
Running L Community means ongoing costs across the app, hosting, moderation, safeguarding infrastructure, event operations, and compliance. We have received some sponsorships and a small number of grants over time. They help. They do not cover the full cost.
We do not rely on institutional funding by design. Some funders withdraw support once they understand what female-only provision actually means. So the platform runs on memberships and direct contributions from the women who use it.
Ongoing support keeps the app, events, moderation, and safeguarding systems running. Without it, none of this exists.
