Room Available
No longer availableHolland Park, London
Double room available in W11 in a well kept, fully furnished home with a relaxed, sociable feel. The space has recently been decorated and comes ready to move into, including bedding and towels, so it's straightforward if you're looking for something settled without needing to set everything up yourself.
The flat has a shared kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, and a patio area that's used for downtime as well as smoking. There's also a community kitchen garden. It's a lived in home rather than a transient flatshare, so the focus is on people who are house proud and want a calm, respectful environment.
The household is mixed in age and background, with an LGB leaning dynamic. Currently two women live here, along with two kittens, so you need to be comfortable around animals. The atmosphere is social but not chaotic. People have their own routines, but there's an openness to conversation and shared space when it feels natural.
This would suit someone who wants more than just a room and is looking for a stable base in London, particularly someone who values a grounded home environment over a party setup. Female applicants are preferred, with openness to others who fit the overall dynamic.
£250 per week including all bills. Four weeks deposit and four weeks rent in advance. Short lets can be considered. Off road parking may be available by agreement.
Based in Holland Park with strong transport links and access to central London.

Seeking Room
Looking forLondon
Looking for a calm, respectful house share in London, ideally North or East. I'm easy to live with, keep shared spaces clean, and prefer a place that feels settled rather than chaotic or party-focused. I work during the week so I'm usually out in the day, and in the evenings I tend to keep things fairly low-key. I'd like to live with people who are considerate, communicate properly, and want a relaxed, comfortable home environment.

Room Available
OfferingHeadingley, Leeds
Spare room in a two bed flat in Leeds. It's a fairly quiet place overall, not a party house, and I'd prefer to keep it that way. The flat's clean, decent size, and everything works as it should. I work full-time during the week so I'm mostly out in the day, and in the evenings it's usually just cooking, watching something, or heading out occasionally. Looking for someone easy to live with who's respectful of shared space and not chaotic. Happy to chat first and see if it feels like a good fit.

DJ, Sound Engineering and Audio Production
OfferingBournemouth, United Kingdom
I work across DJing, live sound, audio engineering, recording, and broadcast support. I've worked with organisations including the BBC, Channel 4, MTV, and Sky News, covering everything from sound engineering and stage management through to fault finding, live events, and studio work.
Alongside broadcast and technical work, I also DJ for festivals, clubs, weddings, birthdays, private parties, and community events. I've been DJing since the 1990s and mainly enjoy electronic music including trance, dubstep, drum and bass, and dance music, although I'm equally happy playing classic hits and mixed crowd playlists depending on the event.
I also run a home studio and can help with voiceovers, sound editing, and audio production work.
Fine Line and Dotwork Tattoo Artist
OfferingLeyton, London
I'm a tattoo artist working out of Bramble Studios in Leyton, which is an LGBTQ-owned private studio space. I've been tattooing for around five years and mainly work in fine line and dotwork styles, although I'm open to experimenting and building ideas collaboratively depending on what someone wants.
Most of the pieces I do are custom and hand drawn rather than pulled from generic flash sheets. I like tattoos that feel personal, slightly strange, organic, or symbolic, especially designs inspired by nature, movement, mythology, textures, or abstract forms.
The studio itself is quiet and relaxed, which matters to me. A lot of people coming in are nervous or getting tattooed for the first time, so I try to keep the process calm and collaborative rather than intimidating or rushed.
I'm happy working with people who already have a rough idea as well as people who only know the general feeling or direction they want. Most of the designs end up developing through conversation rather than being rigidly planned from the start.
If you want to see more of my work, there are examples on Instagram.
Fine Art, Illustration, UI/UX and Brand Design
OfferingCape Town, South Africa
I work across both traditional and digital design, depending on what the project actually needs. Some clients come to me for fine art or illustration, others need help with websites, UI/UX, brand visuals, layouts, or digital assets that feel more personal and less corporate.
A lot of my work sits somewhere between art and functional design. I like projects that still feel human and hand-made, even when they're digital. I'm especially interested in visual identity work where someone has a rough idea already but needs help turning it into something clearer, stronger, and more cohesive.
I've worked on everything from commissioned artwork and portrait work through to interface design, graphics, product visuals, and web layouts. I'm happy working collaboratively and figuring things out properly rather than forcing people into a rigid process.
If you want to see examples of my work and services, there's a full service guide below with pricing and portfolio information.
Copywriting
OfferingLondon
I write website copy, emails, and general content for small businesses and independent projects. Most of the work is taking something that already exists and making it clearer so it actually makes sense to someone reading it. If something feels vague or a bit all over the place, that's usually where I come in.

Photography
CollaborationManchester
I'm a photographer and I'm open to working on creative shoots. I tend to keep things fairly simple and natural rather than overly staged, and I'm happy to figure things out as we go. If you've got an idea but need someone to actually help make it happen, that's usually where I fit in.

The Headshot Sessions
OfferingLondon
I'm a NYC portrait photographer and my work has been featured in NYTS, Hamilton, Playbill, Broadway World, the Huffington Post, and NY Theatre Mag.
I run The Headshot Sessions at Soif Studios in Hackney. It's a 2 hour shoot, either in studio or external, and includes 3 different looks so you come away with a proper range rather than one single style. You get 3 hi-res retouched photos from the session, and hair and makeup can be arranged if you want it.
Headshots matter more than people think, they're often the first impression someone gets of you before they've even met you, whether that's for casting, work, or anything else you need a strong professional image for. The aim is to get something that actually looks and feels like you, properly lit and properly retouched, rather than something rushed.
There's currently 50% off for new clients.
Junior Graphic Designer
OfferingLondon
I'm a junior graphic designer based in London, driven by a passion for typography and creative thinking, which is what pulled me into design and the wider creative industry in the first place. I'm still early in my career and keen to keep exploring and growing within the field.

Seeking Painter for Wooden Stairs
Looking forHounslow, West London
Looking for someone to sand and paint the wooden stairs shown in the photos below.
Looking for Painter and Wallpapering Help
Sorted via L CommunitySurbiton and Kingston, London
I'm looking for someone who can help paint and possibly wallpaper part of the inside of my widebeam boat on the Thames near Surbiton and Kingston.
It's not a huge space, but boats are obviously a bit different from a standard flat or house because of the layout and curved areas. I only want the cream coloured wall sections done rather than the full interior.
The photos in the PDF below were taken before I moved in, but they give a good idea of the space and the areas involved. I'd ideally like someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working in slightly unusual spaces.
Happy to hear from anyone experienced in painting, decorating, wallpapering, or similar interior work.
Massage Therapy
OfferingLondon
I run The Village Therapies and offer massage focused on relieving tension and helping people properly switch off. It's not rushed or clinical, the aim is to give you a calm space where you can actually relax and feel a difference afterwards.

Personal Training
OfferingManchester
I do personal training mainly focused around strength training and helping women feel more comfortable using weights. Most of the women I work with are either complete beginners or people who've fallen out of routine a bit and want to get back into things properly again. I'm not really into extreme fitness culture or punishing workouts for the sake of it. The focus is more on building strength gradually, feeling better physically, and making training something you can actually stick to long term.

Holistic Healing, Sound Therapy and Women's Retreats
OfferingBrackley, Northamptonshire
I run a holistic healing practice based in Northamptonshire, offering sound healing, Reiki, relaxation sessions, and small women-only retreats focused on rest, emotional reset, and wellbeing.
A lot of the women who come to me are exhausted from constantly being in survival mode, overstretched, burnt out, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply carrying stress in their bodies for far too long without ever properly stopping. The sessions are designed to create space where women can slow down properly, switch off from pressure for a while, and feel looked after rather than needing to hold everything together.
I work with a combination of sound healing, Tibetan and crystal bowls, Reiki, vibration therapy, intuitive energy work, and guided relaxation techniques. Some women book individual sessions, while others come for a longer reset experience through the retreats.
I also host small holistic retreats for women at my home retreat space near Brackley. These are intentionally kept small, usually around five women at a time, so the atmosphere stays calm, personal, and supportive rather than feeling commercial or overcrowded.
The retreats are designed as a chance to properly step away from normal day to day stress, rest deeply, reconnect with yourself, and spend time in a peaceful women-only environment without pressure or performance.
Alongside holistic therapies, I also bring over 30 years of experience working as a registered nurse, which shapes the way I approach wellbeing and care overall.
Sound Therapy and Sound Meditation
OfferingLondon and South England
I'm a qualified sound therapist offering both private and group sound meditation sessions across London and the South West.
Sessions can take place in community spaces, wellness venues, or suitable larger rooms in private homes depending on what works best for the group. Some women come on their own for a bit of quiet and space to properly switch off, while others book sessions with friends or as part of a wider wellbeing gathering.
Sound meditation and sound baths can help with stress, anxiety, burnout, poor sleep, emotional overwhelm, or simply feeling mentally overloaded from everyday life. A lot of women come because they struggle to properly relax or slow down, even when they know they need to.
The sessions are calm, accessible, and suitable for women who've never tried sound therapy before. The aim is simply to create a space where people can rest, reset a bit, and leave feeling more grounded afterwards.
Psychotherapy and Somatic Healing
OfferingCanterbury, Kent
I support women living with anxiety, grief, trauma, or emotional overwhelm, especially those who feel they've already done a lot of inner or psychological work but still feel like something important hasn't fully shifted.
I've worked as a psychotherapist for over 30 years and offer a calm, confidential space where your inner world can be explored safely, without pressure, judgement, or the feeling that you need to hold everything together while you talk.
My work combines psychotherapy, parts work, somatic healing approaches, creativity, and compassionate reflection. Some women come because they feel emotionally stuck, disconnected from themselves, or exhausted from constantly coping. Others are looking for a deeper understanding of long-standing patterns that still affect how they move through life and relationships.
The focus is not just on analysing things intellectually, but on helping women reconnect with a steadier sense of themselves and feel more grounded in their bodies and everyday lives.
Sessions are available online as well as in person in Canterbury.
Hypnotherapy Coaching
OfferingCanterbury / Online
I use a mix of hypnotherapy and coaching to help people work through what's actually driving the issue, rather than only managing the surface symptoms. The focus is on working with the subconscious, so you're not relying on willpower alone or repeating the same patterns over and over.
Women come to me for things like anxiety, confidence, unwanted habits, emotional blocks, or feeling stuck in certain areas of life, but also for bigger shifts such as changing direction, moving on from a difficult period, or reconnecting with themselves after burnout or stress.
Sessions are shaped around the individual rather than following a rigid programme. Some people want practical support and tools they can use day to day, while others are looking to understand deeper emotional patterns and responses that have been affecting them for years.
Hypnotherapy can help access the part of the mind where those patterns are formed and maintained, which often allows changes to feel more natural and long term rather than something that constantly has to be managed consciously.
Sessions are available online as well as in person.
Admin Support
OfferingLondon
I offer admin support for individuals or small teams who need help staying on top of things. That usually means inbox management, scheduling, and general organisation. I work quietly in the background and keep things moving without needing constant input, so it suits people who just need someone steady to handle it.

Seeking Virtual Assistant
Looking forBristol
I'm looking for part-time support for my TEFL business. The work is mainly inbox management, social media, and keeping things organised. It's not a huge role, but I need someone reliable who can check in regularly and stop things from building up. Ideally someone who's comfortable working independently once they understand how things are set up.

Hiring Designer
OfferingRemote
I'm looking for a freelance designer to work with us on branding and web projects. It's a mix of ongoing work and one off pieces, depending on what's coming in at the time. You'd be working across things like visual identity, layout, and web design, so it suits someone who's comfortable picking things up quickly and working independently.
This is a remote role and fairly flexible, but you'll need to be responsive and able to deliver work to a good standard without a lot of back and forth. It's a good fit if you're already freelancing and want a steady stream of work alongside what you're doing.
Professional Organising and Decluttering
OfferingLondon and surrounding areas
I run Life Organised, where I help women declutter and organise their homes, paperwork, digital spaces, and everyday systems in a way that feels realistic and manageable rather than overwhelming.
A lot of the women I work with are dealing with chronic illness, ADHD, burnout, grief, hoarding tendencies, stress, or simply years of things building up around them. I try to approach the work practically and without judgement. The aim isn't perfection or creating an Instagram house. It's helping people build spaces and systems that actually work for their lives.
Alongside physical organising, I also help with digital clutter including emails, files, folders, desktops, photographs, and general digital overwhelm.
Before starting Life Organised, I worked across museums and picture libraries in the UK, cataloguing and organising archives, books, photographs, historical collections, and artefacts. That background shaped how I work now. I tend to be methodical, calm, collaborative, and patient rather than forcing people into rigid systems.
I'm experienced working with disabled women and those living with chronic illness, and I adapt the process depending on what someone actually needs and can realistically manage.
I'm based in East London but work with clients across London and surrounding areas, and some support can also be done remotely depending on the situation.
Dog Sitting and Pet Care
OfferingLeigh, Wigan and surrounding areas
I offer dog sitting and pet care in your own home across Leigh, Wigan, and surrounding areas. I've worked with animals for over 18 years and have experience with all breeds, including reactive or nervous dogs who need a calmer and more patient approach.
I know a lot of animals are more settled staying in their own environment rather than kennels or unfamiliar places, especially older pets or dogs who struggle with change, anxiety, or being away from home. The focus is on keeping things as normal and stress free as possible while you're away.
I also have experience caring for cats and other pets, so I'm happy to discuss different setups depending on what's needed. Some people just need help with short visits and feeding, while others need longer sitting arrangements or more hands on support.
I'm fully insured and try to keep things reliable, calm, and straightforward both for the animals and for the owners. Happy to chat first and see what would work best for you and your pets.
Home Organisation
OfferingBirmingham
I help with decluttering and setting up simple systems so things actually stay organised. It's usually working through one area at a time, clearing what's not needed, and putting something in place that's easy to keep on top of day to day. Good if things have built up and you just need a practical reset.

Pet Sitting - Posh Pets
OfferingLondon
I run Posh Pets, offering elite pet sitting that gives back. I'm DBS checked, have references available, and I'm fully insured, so you're not just handing your pet over to anyone, everything's properly in place.
From the photos, dogs are looked after somewhere relaxed and homely rather than kennelled or left to their own devices, cosy sofas, cushions, and plenty of space to settle in. It's the kind of set up where a nervous or clingy pet can actually feel comfortable rather than stressed out the whole time you're away.
There's currently £10 off per night for new fluffy friends.
Drama School, Acting Coaching and Performance Training
OfferingPreston, Chorley, Wigan, Warrington and Online
Meladrama is a family run professional drama school for children and adults based in the North of England, with classes in Preston, Chorley, Wigan, Warrington, and online.
Established in 2005, we work across acting, drama, confidence building, accent coaching, and performance training. We also have an affiliated agency, CHAOS Management.
Melanie is a professional TV actress and acting coach, with accent coaching also provided by professional actor Leo Ashton. Alongside classes and workshops, we also provide theatrical and dramatic training for corporate events.
Child protection and safeguarding are a huge part of the work we do. We regularly work with vulnerable children, child protection teams, and young people in harder to reach areas, with a strong focus on resilience, confidence, and helping people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Melanie also wrote and performed a one woman play called The Secret, based on her own experience of childhood sexual abuse and survival.
Sovereignty and Resilience Coaching
OfferingOnline, Hamburg
I offer confidential coaching for women who feel worn down by constantly having to monitor what they say in social or professional environments.
A lot of women feel under pressure to stay quiet, avoid conflict, or second guess themselves, even when they know what they think. The focus of this work is helping you stay grounded, think clearly under pressure, and stop feeling like you have to explain yourself all the time.
Sometimes people also just need space to talk openly with someone who understands the wider cultural pressure women are dealing with at the moment, without judgement or defensiveness.
Habit Coaching
OfferingOnline
I offer mindfulness based habit retraining, using the method developed by Dr. Judson Brewer. The focus is on understanding how habits actually form and then working through them in a practical way, rather than relying on willpower or short term fixes.
This is for anyone looking to change patterns that feel stuck or repetitive, whether that's something small that keeps coming back or something that's having a bigger impact on your day to day life. We work through your specific habits and build a clearer understanding of what's driving them.
Sessions are online over Google Meets or WhatsApp. I offer a discovery call followed by four free sessions so you can see if the approach works for you before committing to anything longer term.
Network Coaching
OfferingVancouver
I do a mix of network coaching and copy editing. The coaching is usually about working through ideas, contacts, or next steps when things feel a bit unclear. On the writing side, I help clean things up so they read properly and actually say what you mean.

Career Coaching
OfferingOnline
I help with CVs and job applications, especially if things aren't landing the way you expected. Sometimes it's just about tightening things up so it reads clearly, other times it's working out how to position yourself properly. We focus on what you're actually applying for and adjust from there.

Selling Furniture
OfferingLondon
I'm selling a desk, chair, and a set of shelves as I'm moving and won't have space for them. They're all in good condition, nothing damaged, just normal wear from use. The desk is a decent size for working from home, the chair is comfortable enough for long days, and the shelves are solid rather than flimsy flat-pack. Ideally looking for someone who can collect from London. I can send photos if needed.

Lesbian History Walking Tour
OfferingNotting Hill Gate and Campden Hill, London
I run a gentle walking tour around Campden Hill and Notting Hill Gate focused on Radclyffe Hall and other lesbian women who lived in the area during the inter-war years.
The walk looks at the social history of the area and some of the women connected to it, including doctors, writers, and other figures who were part of lesbian life in London at the time. It's intended to be accessible and informal rather than overly academic.
The tour runs on the last Sunday of the month between April and September and usually lasts around an hour. Several women who've attended previously have also wanted to stop off afterwards for tea or coffee nearby.
The meeting point is Café Nero outside Notting Hill Gate station and the cost is £7.
Practical Support
OfferingWest London
I can help with practical issues that come up day to day. Things like council tax, gas and electric, water, childcare, and both civil and criminal law. I've also dealt with debt and bailiffs, so I understand how difficult those situations can get.
Alongside this, I run a handmade gift shop. I make personalised light bottles, candles, and other custom pieces. A lot of what I do is made to order, so if you've got something specific in mind I can usually put something together for you.
Everything is made and sent from the UK, and most items include free UK delivery. You can view the shop at: etsy.com/uk/shop/madebymaureenx
Community Project for Women with Visual Impairments
CollaborateBrighton
I'm putting together a small local project in Brighton for women with visual impairments, mainly focused on social connection and getting people out of the house a bit more regularly. The idea is to organise things like relaxed coffee mornings, small meetups, walks, and low pressure social spaces where women can actually get to know each other properly without everything feeling overly formal or inaccessible.
It's still early stages at the moment so I'm looking for a few women who might want to help shape it with me as it develops. That could be helping organise things, bringing ideas, helping spread the word, or just being part of building something supportive and welcoming locally.
A lot of this came from noticing how isolated some visually impaired women can end up feeling socially, especially if mainstream groups don't really feel built with them in mind. I'd like it to feel friendly and relaxed rather than overly formal or structured.
Happy to chat with anyone interested and see if it feels like a good fit.
Share a service, offer something, or ask for what you need.
This is a women-only space to connect, trade skills, find support, and collaborate.
