Dispute Resolution Policy

At L Community, we are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all our members. To ensure that any disputes are handled promptly and fairly, we have established a clear process for addressing and resolving disputes, respecting the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved.

1. Internal Resolution

If you have a dispute or concern, we encourage you to address it through our internal resolution process first. Please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Contact our support team by emailing us at [email protected]. Provide a detailed description of your concern or dispute, including any relevant information or evidence.
  • Step 2: Our support team will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 48 hours and will aim to resolve the issue within 14 days.
  • Step 3: If the support team cannot resolve the issue, it will be escalated to a senior member of our management team, who will review the matter and respond within an additional 14 days.

2. Escalation

If the dispute cannot be resolved through the internal resolution process, you may escalate your concern to our Data Protection Officer (DPO). The DPO will undertake an independent review of the dispute:

  • Contact the DPO: Email the DPO at [email protected] with a detailed account of your dispute and the steps taken to resolve it so far.
  • Review and Response: The DPO will review your complaint and provide a response within 30 days.

3. External Resolution

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of the internal and DPO-mediated resolutions, you have the right to seek external resolution:

  • Contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): You can file a complaint with the ICO, the UK’s independent body set up to uphold information rights. More information can be found on the ICO’s website, or you can contact them directly at:

    Information Commissioner’s Office
    Wycliffe House
    Water Lane

    Telephone: 0303 123 1113

4. Confidentiality and Privacy

Throughout the dispute resolution process, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of all parties involved. All communications and records related to the dispute will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of resolving the issue.
