Membership Rules

1. Eligibility for Membership

Membership is exclusively open to women in accordance with UK licensing laws and the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 16, which permits single-sex services and clubs. This policy ensures a safe and supportive environment for lesbian and bisexual women.

  • Men, including trans-identifying males, are strictly prohibited from joining, attending events, or entering any L Community venues.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Members must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

2. Membership Application Process

  • Applicants must submit a clear selfie or face scan for verification purposes.

  • L Community reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its discretion.

  • Membership is free, but additional membership tiers may be introduced in the future.

  • Members will be notified in advance of any changes to membership fees or structure.

3. Conduct & Behaviour

L Community is committed to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment.

  • Members must treat each other with respect at all times.

  • Explicit, offensive, or abusive language and behaviour are strictly prohibited.

  • Discriminatory, abusive, or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated.

  • Any violations will result in warnings, content removal, or membership revocation.

  • Members must respect the confidentiality and privacy of fellow members.

Moderation System

  • Filters are in place to detect and block explicit language.

  • Reports are manually reviewed by administrators to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Action will be taken against violations, including membership termination for severe infractions.

4. Use of Facilities & Services

  • Members must adhere to all rules and guidelines for using L Community facilities.

  • Any damage to property caused by a member must be reported immediately and may result in financial liability.

  • Only approved members are allowed entry to private events and venues.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

  • All club communications and information are confidential.

  • Sharing confidential information without permission will result in membership revocation.

  • Advanced encryption and security measures are in place to protect member data.

  • Members who desire additional privacy may opt for anonymity settings.

6. Membership Revocation & Dispute Resolution

L Community reserves the right to revoke membership for any of the following reasons:

  • Providing false or misleading information during the application process.

  • Engaging in discriminatory, abusive, or offensive behaviour.

  • Violating confidentiality agreements or sharing private member information.

  • Damaging club property or failing to report damage.

  • Any actions that compromise the safety, integrity, or reputation of the club.

Dispute Resolution Process

  • Members should first address disputes internally through L Community’s resolution process.

  • If necessary, disputes may be escalated to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) or the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

7. Legal Compliance

To ensure compliance with UK law, L Community operates under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 16, which allows for single-sex spaces.

  • L Community is a female-only lesbian network created exclusively for same-sex attracted women.
